On occasion the Town Board gets request from it's residents to lower the speed limit in certain areas of specific roads.  This past year there were a few request that were submitted and the Town has recently received the reply from the NYS Department of Transportation Regional Office that the request were denied.  

 

This doesn't preclude us from attempting to get the speed reduced on these roads in the future should circumstances and development change on these specific roads.
