TOWN OF AMSTERDAM Due to a truck breakdown, County Waste was unable to finish the garbage and recycling collection today (Oct. 7) for Antlers Rd, Bieniek Dr, Golf Course Rd, Hickory Ridge Dr, McDonald Dr, McKay Rd, Lepper Rd & Steadwell Rd. Residents should keep their carts roadside for collection for Wednesday and/or Thursday.

- Thanksgiving Day – Thursday collection will be on Friday – Due to Thanksgiving Holiday, garbage & recycling collection normally scheduled for Thursday will be on Friday. Place your carts out the evening before you collection.
- Christmas Week – Thursday collection will be on Friday – Due to Christmas Holiday, garbage & recycling collection normally scheduled for Thursday will be on Friday. Place the carts out the evening before your collection.
